Who would have thought the Micro 4/3 would be this good.

I was skeptical about buying non-traditional camcorders. I've spent a long time pondering the pros and cons of 4K video cameras on a budget. The main criterion was that I needed two cameras. A friend has GH4s and loves them. Since the G85's specs are the same/better and the price was within my budget, I moved on thinking I might return if I didn't like them. several videos and still filming. The results were more than satisfactory and come from a professional photographer/filmmaker with over 40 years of experience. Digital technology has its origins in our first (digital) camera, the Nikon D1. The image quality of video and photos is excellent. Ease of Use - If you have the ability to learn things like one plus one, it's actually two. You will learn how best to configure these cameras to your liking. There are many videos that can help, but use them as guides rather than absolute values. Many accessories are available to further enhance your shooting needs. All in all, I'm missing one thing, and that's the zoom controls. Avoidable by embedding / in a post, but still nice to have. Another very important thing, the color balance between two cameras of the same make/model is often wrong, the two G85s I have need very little adjustment in post to balance. Oh, and they weigh next to nothing, so hours of handheld photography is easy! Will I buy again? Absolutely! If you need more evidence, watch the Evanston Police Department's Lip Sync Challenge YouTube video. Better yet, watch a YouTube video called Chicago View.
