It was great for my boys who all love Skylanders. Yes, it's just a painted box, but for a child it's something more. I love the drawing and the way they drew it to look like an old chest. When you open the box you will see three colorful play areas. One of them is a sand race that is on the lid. The other two are divided into two compartments. About twenty cars and characters are saved here. One side is painted to look like a garage while the other is a storage room. It also includes three pop-up cardboard toys: a tower, a stack of tires and a building barrier. Although the playground concept was too childish for my 8 and 11 year olds, the storage idea worked great. This keeps their area clean and tidy. My kids thanked me when they saw this. Does it last as long as plastic? It depends on age and usage. * I bought it at regular price. I have not received any discounts on this item and have not contacted the seller.
