Great Value Bag and Quality Bases

Bag: I needed a bag for my collection of 18 1" diameter sticks from various sets and manufacturers. They all fit well and there is room for more. The bag has a zipper at one end. It is of good quality. All my sticks are designed for turf/indoor training (no spikes) so I don't know how the spiked bag works. At $30, this is a decent price for a pole bag. . Bases: I got these bases to work with a variety of 1" rods that I collected from many kits and manufacturers. They cost less than $10 per base! -3/8" diameter - much larger than my poles. The solution was to buy some 1-3/8" ODx1" ID clear woven PVC vinyl tubing from the hardware store for under $2.5 per foot. I cut it into 3" and 2.5" pieces to fit the bottom and top of the hole in the base. Note that there is a rib in the hole - the reason I use two pieces on the base .hollow so they can go in easier.Removing them will be a little tricky and will probably have to cut them with a blade. But since I use 1" posts this isn't necessary. The only problem I had was, that one of the bases was bent. The solution was to buy a second set, replace the bad base and send back a set. They smell bad when new in plastic packaging but if left outside they lose their strong odor, and I see no reason to sleep well, like e s is to be expected with products made of technical rubber.
