Will Not Detach from Backing

I bought this product early in the summer to have on hand for any pool inflatable that might develop a hole. A favorite pool toy just got a small puncture and I was delighted that I had a repair kit on hand. I just spent 30 minutes trying to detach the repair tape from the backing and was totally unable to do so. It’s been in my air-conditioned home this whole time, so no heat damage or anything like that, just a defective product. My nails are pretty long and I normally wouldn’t have a problem doing this. It’s too late to get a refund, so now I have to order something else and am unable to repair the tube. Don’t waste your money on this product.
