Review on 📝 Boogie Board Basics: 8.5in LCD Writing Tablet with Instant Erase – Reusable Writing Pad, Stylus Pen Included (Black) by David Mcdonald

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm Lister, Mr.

All my life I've been Lister. From to-dos to vein charts, I'm a dot, dot, dot. The pencils are fine; The grips are good, but they always dry out or lose their glide. What's the point :) you say? This super, super useful tool was a real challenge for me. Here are a few things to help make your decision a little easier: Pros: • Surprisingly easy typing • Non-erasable clip with stylus holster • Magnets included • 50,000 erases, so you can erase 3 times a day for just over 45 can wash half a year! • Ideal for any listener, artist, playmate. They call it • Ultralight for mobile devices. Cons: • At about 5mm of black closest to the blue border on each of the 4 sides, the color of the boogie board's writing becomes bluish. • The font color is matt gray throughout, which can make it difficult to read if you have poor eyesight or in the dark. • A non-erasable clip may slide too far when you press it. [To solve this problem, I took a piece of plywood and cut it to a slightly smaller shape than the back edge of the boogie board, with a gap for the clip to slide into without erasing. It also solves the non-erasable clip going too far which is nice.] Overall I like this tool/toy/memory bank for my thoughts. It turns out to be perfect for my needs and I love it so much. I highly recommend it and if you're having trouble deciding between this and other boogie boards like me, this might help. Other attractive features of Boogie Boards were the larger screen size, the no-wipe switch, the ability to save to your computer, the ability to have a memory bank for your drawings/writings/etc. to have, and a rechargeable battery. Here are a few things to keep in mind: • This screen is big enough for everything you're likely to do. • The clip isn't bad and not distracting, just a bit intimidating in the curve. It's not a big deal and definitely not a rule violation. • I wouldn't recommend this for work (other than an everyday list) or creating Vincent van Gogh art, so you won't need this feature for saving at all. • A memory bank would be nice, but for my purposes and yours it probably isn't needed and probably isn't worth $10 let alone $70. • The battery sounds cool. but think about it. Do you need it over 45 and 1/2 years old? Or even if it was part of it. Let's say you deleted 10 times a day. Would you use it for 13 and 1/2 years? Probably not for my purposes. • Finally, is the extra money for these features worth the extra $70? Again not for me. *** If you found this review helpful, please vote "Useful" directly below.
