These bulbs meet expectations in terms of energy savings and the color is as advertised. While they claim to have twice the lumens of a standard RV bulb, they don't seem to be much brighter (to my wife's liking). They are much colder than the old lamps. They cast strange yellow and white lines that are particularly noticeable on light-colored surfaces. This can be aggravated or caused by clear plastic covers with textured lines. Also, the lights in our RV seemed to force the bulbs to be set at an angle of 10-15 degrees from horizontal, causing them to shine more in one direction than the other. They are more difficult to use than normal light bulbs. I will probably buy more of those four bulbs that we didn't replace with the first set of 20 bulbs. All lights worked, no problems. It's pretty much an exact replacement in color and brightness for standard camper bulbs.
