I liked the color combination and that my style of boots can match my daughter's style. They are easy for kids to put on because the boot body is strong enough and keeps its shape. Drawstring laces make it easy for kids to handle these boots on their own. Note: My daughter is clumsy. They fit well enough to be an extension of her foot rather than something attached to her leg. She falls less in these boots. Downgraded one star because they are not waterproof and my daughter's feet are wet after an hour of sledding. We live in Alaska and it just can't be.
