A well designed light shaper at a reasonable price. The ability to use it in both rebound and pierce configurations makes it very versatile. I'm a little apprehensive about taking it outside for fear of high winds, but you'll be fine as long as you use sandbags on your light stand. Build quality is pretty good and should stand up to reasonable use. The quality of the light produced by this umbrella is soft given its size and looks quite nice. With full diffusion in reflection mode, the light is slightly diffused. For more controlled and directional lighting, you can partially flip the umbrella over the flash, creating a light that looks like a small softbox. In Through mode, the light becomes even softer and can be brought much closer to the subject. Highly recommended!
