I am very glad I ordered these bowls. I was looking for durable mixing bowls to replace a number of metal bowls that were starting to rust. It took me over a week to figure out what I wanted because I'm pretty picky when it comes to mixing bowls, especially plastic ones. I wanted to make sure I had a quality kit that would last. I've had flexible plastic bowls before and they don't hold up and don't work the best, so this time I made sure to get a hard plastic set. I am very impressed with the quality and durability of this set. They are very well constructed and are made from thick polypropylene plastic which makes the bowls very durable. They are light and still have a good weight. They have a flat bottom so they don't slide across the table while mixing. It's good to have 6 different sized bowls with lids so I always have the right size for each recipe. I use them not only for cooking but also for storing food in the fridge. I like the compact design. The bowls and lids fit together perfectly. The only space it takes up in the cupboard is the size of the largest bowl with the lid closed. Wonderful! The lids fit well, tightly and never crack. The best part is that I can wash them in the dishwasher and use them in the microwave and freezer. These are great all-purpose bowls!
