Noise canceling is almost non-existent at this price. I've had them for a few days and am still having trouble telling the difference and there is no sign of them being on or off. The sound quality is pretty flat, like listening to Bose, you can tweak it for more bass or treble, but the sound is more distorted. They sound better or clearer in the middle, probably where they were intended. To be honest they sound like in the $50-$75 range. I think they increased the price of NC which is hardly available. The phone calls aren't loud, some people can't hear me, others can't hear me, so overall it's not good. Everything around you is amplified on calls, no isolation, even if you put the stylus down everything is very clear, so the mics work. Too good. The buttons are so clumsy and do too many things. They're so easy to confuse. They can also be hard to tell apart when they're upside down and my fingers aren't big. So if you have big hands they are not for you as they are close together. comfort. They're ok, you just have to find your middle ground, mine isn't right on my head because they can be tricky. The pillow is not the best on the head or ears. My ears are in about an hour or so and I need to adjust and my ears aren't big. For the money they just aren't worth it. The best thing about these headphones is the battery life. I would just spend a bit more for a better pair, I think it will go back to Sony or Bose. Sanheiser might be better with their off-budget headphones, but I won't be trying their products again for a while.
