My family had Betta for 5-6 months. When switching to this gravel, the water in the tank became very cloudy even after several flushes with hot water and a new filter. Our fish started acting strange and hid behind the filter. The fish died after about 2 days. We bought another rooster fish. I rinsed the gravel out thoroughly again and put in a new filter. The next day the fish behaved strangely, hiding behind the filter, bloating, not eating and swimming horizontally in the tank. I bought a Betta Revive and the fish just kept getting worse. I took the betta out of our tank and put it back in the container. It took several days of researching and caring for Betta before she got better. I threw away that gravel! DO NOT BUY!
