Review on 🌬️ Sharper Image PORTAL Window Fan, 3 Speeds, Reversible Exhaust Mode, Weather Resistant, White/Black by Megan Smalls

I've been waiting for this fan for literally 20 years. When I was in college I had a Holmes HAWF3030 similar to this model. This fan serves its purpose. It's insanely quiet and I love that it's electrically reversible, unlike the old Holmes model that had the lever on the side. Just know that THIS IS A FAN. It has no refrigerant or anything close by that will cool your room to the bone in foggy, hot and humid weather at 90 degrees. You will love this fan for use on those comfortable summer nights when temperatures range from 65 to 72 degrees with low humidity. I also like this fan model because you don't have to worry about people looking through your windows while it's running. It's easy too. There are two things I don't like about this model. The first are the styrofoam pieces that you place on the side. Although the fan fits snugly against my window, I hope I don't lose these parts when the fan is removed for the fall/winter months. The second problem is that there is no remote control. I know Vornado makes this fan and they have a model under their name that comes with remote control and extra speed. However, it costs a little more money. In the end I'm happy. I hope Sharper Image/Vornado keeps this fan alive and doesn't hire him. I have already bought 2 and am planning to buy 2 more. I bought 2 black ones because I was concerned that the white ones would turn yellow from the sun over time. ****NOTE*** This fan cannot be used vertically. Don't even try to use it vertically. The foam isn't strong enough to hold it in place when you try to use it vertically. Again, you can't use this vertically!
