What I really needed was a small clock to place next to my laptop. It had to show seconds (or hundredths) and be accurate. I placed this little clock next to the office time standard (satellite time standard) for two days. During this time he gained a second. This is an excellent result and well within my time tolerance! The timer is an excellent addition, as far as I know for this price any watch that can also keep time is excellent. But sometimes I use a timer and have found it to be as easy to use as the stopwatch I carry in my coat pocket.
