I turned my trailer into a tiny house so I'm always plugged into 120 volt AC. These lights work great with a rechargeable battery found in most trailers. I've found that they tend to burn out when the current fluctuates. This happens when I turn on the AC-DC converter. Newer models are probably better at smoothing out the current profile so you might not notice this at all, but if you have an older model like me, turn the lights off before turning the converter on, then turn the lights back on a. The glue used in electronics is usually toxic, so try to vent quickly if it burns you.
