This printer is really very practical. It only prints in black, which suits me fine. You will NEVER need ink as heat is used in printing. I agree with that too! There are many different sizes of labels including round and even clear labels. I haven't had to charge it yet, but I don't wear it all the time either. They will provide a USB cable when the time comes, but if you want to charge from a wall outlet you'll need an AC adapter (I just use it from my phone charger). The app you use on your phone to create shortcuts seems like a bit of trial and error when you learn it, but the more I used it the easier it became. You can print your photos on the label, but remember it's black and white only. The quality isn't that great for photos, but to be honest I didn't have a label printer to print my photos! However, there are many easy-to-print label icons within the app itself! Need a warning sign or badge with random food/arrows/etc. No problem! There's something like the Grumpy Cat icon that I really like. The app offers different fonts, but they are nothing special. I've added an image of several different fonts. In general, as I said at the beginning, it is very convenient. It did what I got it for. 4/5 stars because the app could be a bit more user friendly.
