I was thrilled the first time I used it because my son couldn't get the clip off his clothes/salivary bibs. And is that the whole point? So they don't throw pacifiers or we'll lose them. But the second time we used it he was able to take it off and even detach it where he was chewing on the open mouth of the clamp (not good). I hoped he couldn't do it. The Nuby pacifier cord (which I tried before) is much easier to untie, which is why I bought it. Although the clip is way better than Nuby, it still fails the 9 month old test. I would absolutely recommend it for a younger child. But if you have an older child, they can easily take it off and loosen it. While I'm disappointed with this feature, I still think it's a very durable product that will last a long time. I wish I bought it before my baby was born so I could have lots of it. I like silicone beads but I prefer nubys. Nuby has smaller shapes layered over larger shapes to make it easier to bend/bend. These are all balls and wrapped tightly next to each other. Because of this, it doesn't hang/lie well when my son has a nipple in his mouth. It's okay, but if you're picky, that should be taken into account. Overall this is a good product just not right for me and my baby.
