Review on Eagle Creek Packable Daypack Black by Chad Cypert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It worked great. Backpack was lightweight

I purchased this backpack for hiking on a recent trip to Arches National Park in Utah. It worked great. The backpack was light, well built and small enough to pack in a suitcase for air travel and worked great for hiking. It was big enough to hold a sweatshirt, snacks or lunch, and a large water bottle. My water bottle had to fit in the main compartment because it was too big to fit in the side pocket, but that's what I expected. It was 40 ounces. Water bottle and I needed every drop for hiking in 90 degree weather. A small water bottle fits easily in the side pocket. I also used it at a Rocky Mountain baseball game and the safety switches came in very handy. Lying on my back in a crowd didn't bother me at all. Anyone looking for a compact, comfortable everyday backpack will not be disappointed.

Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others
