Review on Renewed Audio-Technica ATH-M40x Headphones by Ben Hamilton
They are pretty good and I can't go back to regular headphones
I got these headphones after being fed up with all my previous headphones with a built in break cable. The sound quality is excellent. I use them for gaming/general use as I don't use desktop speakers. Their disadvantages are minimal, but still present. After about an hour the bandage on my head starts to irritate/sore. The ear cushions that come with the headset also feel uncomfortable. However, I strongly recommend not replacing them. Basically, I spent $20 on what appears to be a decent replacement, but you lose a lot of performance by changing earpads.
