Mine broke and needed replacing. You arrive on time. And they are ok but I don't feel any difference between the feathers to be honest. There is no tool included but I just pushed it from the tip and I think it works? I'm not sure how difficult it is to insert though. I just stopped when I felt I hit the feather, but it didn't fall out. As for the broken part, I unscrew the handle and remove the tip by pulling on it and it came out pretty easily.
