We recently converted a seldom-used coat closet into extra storage for baby items as we have another little one on the way who will be sharing his brother's room. I am using the shelf to store towels, washcloths, receiving blankets, crib sheets, and much more. I love the sturdy construction of this shelf and am pleased overall with its versatility. This is really sturdy, but hard to hang. It’s bulky and long, so if your closet isn’t too tall or the rod is placed at around head height (I’m 5’8, for reference) than you’re going to have a bad time. Also, this isn’t any good for hanging on the back of a door or on a wall. Closet only. Being that I got it for the back of a door this was disappointing, but I can definitely still use it for my closet. 4 stars.

I bought this one and a similar one with metal hooks instead of fabric/velcro straps. I think this one's straps make it slightly stronger than the other one with metal hooks. However, this one and the other one both sag and stretch under the weight of a few pairs of steel-toe boots and other items. I used this hanger in my closet. It works as it's supposed to! I filled all the compartments with clothes and have not noticed any sagging of any of the compartments or unsteadiness in the fasteners at the top. I like the forest green color and it's working as written. Overall a great closet organizer and I recommend!

I bought this to use in our front closet to hold various hats, gloves, scarves and so on. It works great. The young kids stuff is on the lower bins and the adults up higher. It worked to totally wrangle all the loose winter accessories that wind up on the floor. I would buy this for any other closet organizing as well as for shoes. This is a really nice hanging organizer. I've had some in that past that sag over time, but this one hasn't. I've been using it to hold clothes for about 2 months now and it has held it's shape due to the cardboard in the divider shelves. It also is a nice color and it looks nice in the closet.

Very sturdy for my 8year olds closet. She doesn’t put anything super heavy on the shelves though, but toys, shoes and other clothing fits perfectly!

I just bought a second one so I now have one for athletic shoes and one for sandals. The one on the far right is a different product that I use to store my jeans. Having the closet floor clear of shoes/clutter makes me feel better and the space looks cleaner. These shoe organizers are well made and sturdy. They were packaged well and arrived in two days. I needed something to store larger items, like blankets and sheets etc for my toddlers room. This one is perfect for the price point! I have extra room to spare. I really like how it velcros as the top too- it's sturdier that way. My only complaint was that I was hoping this was a thicker/canvas like material and it is actually very thin.I don't know what to call it- material. It seems like it will hold up just fine though so I'm keeping it!

I bought this to replace an older one that broke. This one was able to handle the weight of many wool scarves and hats. Easy to install, durable, and sturdy back. Does not fold over or bend with weight!

You get what you pay for, does exactly as described. I would definitely measure the bar in the closet you intend on strapping this over, remember that there is an additional measurement from the straps themselves to consider. If there is any slack because the shelf hits the floor of your closet, it will not function properly.Durable material, but the shelf is not mean’t for objects heavier than a school textbook as it will buckle.

I ordered three of these closet organizers to go in our upstairs french doored closet. They work perfectly! I put towels, washcloths, pillow cases, and sheets in them. I will update the review once I determine the durability, hope they hold up!

Like you can add more space & Velcro holds! Only wish pockets weren’t a bit larger but like them when low on storage space!

I've used these for years. Nothing comes close to the ease of managing your clothes when you've got these hanging in your closet. I buy six at a time and have a wall of cubbies holding almost everything I can fold. They replace countless drawers and are a dream come true for minimalists. Imagine how much money you can save by NOT buying a chest of drawers and so many hangers! These are awesome.

It's perfect and exactly what I needed. I took it out of the box immediately and it was in use within 1/2 an hour. Much cheaper way to get shelves in a closet than to rebuild the closet. I may even buy another one.I wouldn't recommend it for shoes. Might be too heavy. I used it for tanks and tees.

Does what it needs to do. Perhaps consider the uses and if you're purchasing for packing on trips or for leaving in the closet. Customer service was great.

I have a great big walk-in closet but no shelves. I now have 4 of these, two for my husband and two for myself. The compartments can fit a good amount of clothing. It's easy to assemble and it's collapsible. The base of each compartment is reinforced with cardboard so it provides a great base. It's great product for a great price! Will definitely repurchase in the future!
