I am very disappointed in this backpack. My son goes to kindergarten, so we need a large backpack that will fit a folder. I tried to insert the binding and it barely fits. The binding corners touch the sides of the backpack. The depth is also missing. School supplies and a lunch box definitely don't fit in. I'm not sure why this manufacturer didn't add an extra inch. I was also surprised that the shoulder straps had almost no padding. He was very fragile and flexible. I gave 3 stars as the color was very cute and the pockets were great. The fabric felt durable and I liked that they used fabric for the water bottle pocket - I hate when everything is mesh and easily punches a hole. Sorry I will be sending this one back.
