Connected to an Epson 5050UB projector. When the projector is configured for enhanced EDID (up to 18Gbps video signal), the cable transmits a 4k60/HDR (18Gbps) video signal from the MSI B450i PC motherboard. No video signal was output when connected from an AVR Pioneer VSX S520 or a Sony UBP-X700 BD player. The cable provided a signal for all three sources when the projector was set to regular EDID (10.2 Gbps), so up to 4k30 resolution. The components and this cable are HDMI spec compliant (which I'm afraid) then the HDMI spec is defective. The cable was replaced with an HDMI fiber optic cable from Revain Basics: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07X4QHZHF/ which works great at 16Gb/s for all my components. Much more expensive of course. The cable would be great if it worked - nice to tug at the shelves, find bugs.
