The top of this suit has the mesh lining you would expect in a swimsuit on the body but not on the arms. This makes the arms very elastic, but the body can only be stretched to a limited extent. I say this because I got into an argument with a shelf bra on top, I won in the end but it was tight. I still think it fits exactly as expected but be aware that a shelf bra has limitations. I got it for sun protection as we sometimes spend all day at the lake and the constant smearing of SPF slime all over the place gets old. Also, it comes in handy on windy days when I want to go swimming but still want a windbreak without a towel. I love that the top is colorful but mostly white so I can pair it with shorts or other bottoms. Jump in the water and don't worry about getting splashed a lot.
