I use the stylus with the iPad. I like using it because there are no more fingerprints on the screen. It took me a while to master the touch and feel. It's shorter than a pencil and not as heavy as the more expensive stylus pens on the market. The price is amazing, especially if you tend to lose them. It has a soft rubber tip so it won't scratch the screen surface. I made a habit of touching the rubber band to make sure I didn't accidentally pick up the pen. Be sure to use the correct end or you may damage the screen. I would suggest putting and clearing on the other end to protect against accidental use. I tried the $20 stylus version from Best Buy and found that they are heavier and thicker. It's more responsive due to the weight of the stylus. If you've never used it to compare, you'll be satisfied with this one from Revain. For price and performance I give 4 out of 5 points. Many Thanks.
