Good product! suitable for breastfeeding

I love these trays. This is the only product I have used to store milk since my baby was born about 2 months ago. I was gifted a couple of breast milk storage bags but never used them because it's so easy and seems less wasteful than using many small bags. is on the shelf in the freezer. If you pour milk into a tray on your kitchen counter and fill it up to the fill line, you're more likely to spill it on the way to the freezer. If milk squirts, the lid will freeze to the tray and you'll end up wasting milk. My solution was to simply leave the freezer door open for a few seconds and pour the milk into the tray already in the freezer. I use this product in combination with Milkies Milk Saver so I pour random amounts of milk into the bowl throughout the day. If I put the tray in and out of the freezer every time my daughter breastfeeds, I would spill a lot of milk. The bright light from the freezer also helps me see the fill line. So you absolutely need a level space inside the freezer with space for a tray, preferably at an easily accessible height. If you have a tiny freezer that doesn't have a lot of space or a bottom freezer drawer, this may not work for you. After the milk has frozen, I turn the tray over and take out the chopsticks by rotating the edges of the tray. back and forth and press the outside of the milk sticks with your thumbs. It's usually too frozen to take the chopsticks out first, so I leave it on the counter for about a minute until it softens a bit. I hold the bottom of the tray over the lid of the tray so the milk sticks fall onto the lid. Then I tilt the lid over a quart-sized zippered freezer bag and just slide the chopsticks into the bag. The only time I have to touch the chopsticks is when the bag is almost full and I can't get the tray in that deep. Quart size ziplock bags hold about 20 milk sticks unless I overfilled the bowls. Then I take a marker and write down the date when the first 8 sticks will be sent to the package. Having two trays is ideal as you can start pouring milk into the second while the first is full and wait until all 8 chopsticks are empty. Freeze and then clean and air dry the first compartment until the second compartment is full. This makes stick storage very convenient as all portions are the same size.
