While they are SteelSeries' least costly headphones, you can still classify them as gaming headphones. They're soft and light, look great, and play music well, but what really impressed me was the quality of the microphone, which is easily the best I've used, especially when compared to more costly ones. The headphones have a passable, subdued sound that allows you to make out subtleties like the volume and direction of game sounds. It's an excellent choice for the cost.
