Thin, thin and cheap

They are not as thick and durable as before. Cardboard is thin and bends easily. Sliding lids become less usable. Although the product is entertaining as described, its poor quality makes it less entertaining. There are other similar products on Dollar Island at Target.

It would be great

They have the potential to be great travel games. My kids loved them. The pictures were good for those who hadn't read the words yet. However, the description says 2 cars and 2 interstate cards and I have 3 cars and 1 interstate. It was difficult to play together because the street and interstate maps are different. So I would recommend them, but open them before you travel to make sure you get what you want!

Fun Car Game!: Travel Games

This is a great way to get kids to look outside during car trips. They have tablets, but we wanted them to be more active, at least for a while. This game was fun for my kids in booster seats. My 3 year old still has a regular car seat and couldn't see out the windows enough to have fun. She also has a shorter attention span. But my 5 and 7 year olds enjoyed playing it. Most of the time it was hard to find bingo. But it can be done. Especially through the city. I liked that it wasn't too easy…

4 boards --- identical sets

So I bought an orange set, they are very cool. We love to gamble but unfortunately we will have to rotate our trip as we will not have enough maps for all travelers to play. Maybe it's my fault for not fully understanding that the 4 boards in the set are different, but multiple sets will have the SAME 4 boards, but that should be clearer in the item description/spec. Share this info so no one does what I did and order 2 sets assuming you will have 8 different cards. 1 star off for that and for…

Great Road Trip Fun

I purchased this product to keep my kids entertained while we were on a family vacation. It reminded me of the old travel games we used to play as a kid and I figured my kids would love what I loved as a kid. We don't use DVD players in our cars, so we're always trying to find new and interesting games for our kids to play while we're on long trips. This game was a hit with our four children. Our youngest was easy enough to play despite not being able to read, but he also worked with our older…

Great game for road trips, but one thing to keep in mind:

This is a really great game for almost all ages. It managed to keep teenagers off the devices for some time, which is important. However, the little doors you close when you find a match close and open so easily that they do so even if the map is tilted left or right. So if the card wobbles one way or the other or falls over or something, then the whole game can be ruined for that person. There should be some resistance opening and closing these little doors. We had to be very careful with…

Virginia is not a form of California.

Good idea, but the execution leaves something to be desired. We had two main problems: 1. One of the four maps had states numbered incorrectly! The other three were correct, but in the fourth not every state matched the state silhouette. This card is useless for almost everything related to the game. It's only good to ask kids what's wrong with him! See pic.2. The little sliders that represent the states you've seen don't stick very well in either the on or off positions. When you drop a card…

Good Product!: Games and Accessories

I gave these and a few other car toys to my grandkids when they were driving home. I think the entertainment options are a great idea when small children have to endure long car rides. This game in particular can even increase safety, because if everyone is looking at one or the other, dangers such as deer will also be noticed. And I think it's always good to encourage children to observe their surroundings. Helps them relax and feel connected to what is happening around them and develop their…

Not as described in travel games

I ordered them for a road trip that we will be leaving soon; It seemed like a good way to entertain my 8 and 11 year olds as we would be spending a lot of time out and about. And they are cute! However, as others have said, the red windows slide easily - you can shake them from side to side and watch them disappear. It can be frustrating when someone drops or shakes one, especially since the goal is to bring joy, not more frustration. But some stay longer than others, so it depends on the map…
