This product just works as it should. Negative reviews seem to be written by people who have no idea what they are doing or how the product is supposed to work. Setup is easy and convenient, the only problem is that the battery cover is difficult to remove. I use a twice daily feeding schedule and the scale is just over halfway to feeding 12 fish (tetras, danios). I placed the device on the platter after it was full to keep an eye on the output volume and make sure it was triggered at the right time. I've found that flake food can clog, so it's best to grind the flake food up a bit. The proboscis rotates only during feeding, not slowly during the day. Also, to change the feeding time, remove and reinsert the batteries when you want to feed the fish. Yes, as other reviews say, there is no information in the instructions, but some traces and errors make it possible to understand the product. Been running for 3 days now, works great. If you know what to expect and how to use it, this will work great for you.
