In general, it's really the same as in the photo, but not very durable. The knobs that you turn to tighten the bars and hold them in place when raising or lowering them are plastic and I can already tell that they won't last long after just a month of use. One is already lost and poorly tightened, and the other is beginning to crack on the plastic. The one I'm replacing had all the metal parts, so that's what I expected from this one. Works well but will not last for years in my studio. Rather for people who set it to a height and go. For those who use it daily in the studio and constantly move it up and down, choose a higher quality model with all metal parts and handles.
