Ideal if you have several 6.35 mm mixers that require a few 3.5mm cables (iPad, iPhone or media) sending you a 3.5 stereo input For example I'm a drummer practicing 5 minute drills which I memorize so I listen the metronome and watch videos (cable tv) while doing repeats these little guys are perfect for inputting into my studio drum mixer hope this helps
