I wanted a leash with a movement handle that didn't stick out of the leash like so many others. I'm also a big fan of braided leather as I'm a horse lover. This leash is wonderful in many ways. The skin is easy and comfortable to tear, very supple and comfortable in the hands. I love that I no longer have to worry about burns from the nylon line. The movement handle is unobtrusive and close enough to the dog for good control. The leash itself has enough "give" to make it easier for both the dog and the handler. I am an absolute and complete fabricator of leather leashes!
