Unicorns are fragile

After getting these unicorns out of the barn, we were worried they wouldn't be very strong. They are made of hard plastic and the legs are very thin. My daughter really wanted them so we didn't send them back but decided to see how it goes. Well, a month has passed and one of the unicorns has a broken leg. We haven't put it out in the pasture yet, but if we can't find the broken piece, that might be our only option. The barn is well made and easy for my daughter to transport. The closure for doors is an elastic band covering a wooden handle. She can't open it herself. We also have a pony stable for Melissa and Doug, and Melissa and Doug's stable is definitely better in comparison. It's easier for little fingers to open and the skates are made of more durable plastic. The attraction of this Breuer stable were the unicorns, too bad they weren't made better.
