I have a Proto 6 ton puller similar to this new one. I got it in 1962, it had a center that was a spring loaded ball and the fit was very secure and easy to fit or remove. This new one uses a snap ring that tries to climb onto the center shaft. After assembly, it is very loose and unstable. Either the landings are too big or too small, or both are wrong. The case arrived with protruding dents I believe from loose parts inside. The box or sleeve was very good and padded in the sender box. I'm afraid my tool might break the screw shank and/or ruin the part. Is there something you could provide to fix this? Many thanks for the fast delivery. CLF I sent an abbreviated notice to the seller due to lack of space
