Review on Fanpac S163 Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust by Katie Gibson

This product has a design flaw as there is a loud vibrating noise from the blinds when switched on, which the manufacturer was not aware of because the most buyers are commercial or industrial and have other equipment noises to which they are accustomed. I bought mine for a large detached garage and the noise bothers me and the neighbors. Contacted the seller but was only able to contact the manufacturer to report. They did a test after I reported 3 weeks later and found the same issue in 1 out of 4 and think it doesn't matter at the moment but no solution. Sending out a replacement is no different and the cost of reinstalling will exceed the cost of the product. You would think they had a warranty that would cover the cost of swapping it out for one with no vibration. 6 months and still fighting with the manufacturer and the fan is falling apart! They tested a few in April, found the same issue and wanted to fix it. Now they say they've never had any problems. I will send a replacement but the cost of removing and installing another is several hundred dollars! I shouldn't have paid that price! The cost of the job added 30% to my electric bill!
