I was looking for a white jacket to wear with dresses. Many of the ones I tried on came below the waist and were too tight and boxy with the dress. Not a very flattering sight! This jacket is perfect. It's fitted, sits right at the waist and stretches a bit. When I roll up my sleeves, they stay rolled up and don't look too bulky. The jacket has a much more feminine look than most denim jackets. Although I bought the jacket with dresses, it also looks very cute with trousers. I had to increase the size. I'm 5ft 5" and 118lbs and I had to return the small one in exchange for the medium one. I usually wear small or size 6 in tops and jackets.
