As teachers, we cannot remove the door handles from our standard door handles to accommodate most lever door handle child resistant locks. My special education class has a bathroom, and I have a student who has made it his life's work to play on the toilet and flush everyone and everything, so finding a way to lock the bathroom door was necessary. It worked great after all the other handle locks didn't work because we weren't allowed to remove the doorknobs. They use glue and are very easy to install. They're easy to use, but tricky enough that kids can't open them unless you teach them how to press and turn the latch.
