Well I confess I use it as a 'personal' massager and it's the best I've ever used. It's bulky, but I or my partner don't mind. He uses it for its intended purpose and that helps too. It's great at removing knots on the back and shoulders, and even better at things it wasn't designed for. There are 2 speeds, although the high speed is very intense and I wouldn't recommend it for your private parts. Mine has lasted 4 years now and my last lasted about 10. The parts can be detached so that it is very easy to clean. It can be noisy, but by moving the nozzle you're using you can usually turn it down a bit. However, if you must be careful, turn on the fan during use and no one will notice. I will buy a new one and recommend it for both intended use and unintended use.
