Review on 🚴 Black Chili Continental Sprinter Tubular Road Bicycle Tire - 28x22 Size for Optimal Performance by Jorge Tupou

Great tires for this price!

I like it. but sometimes they have some hops in them. I think it's (at least in my case) because the baseband kind of overlaps with itself and creates a little bounce in the wheel that you can really feel at speed once you've pumped it up. However, they are good, fast and persistent. In my experience I've been there for two seasons now. My front tire has had two full seasons of racing (about 1800-2000 miles for me) and has not punctured and looks good to use for season three. My rear tire blew out last year and I was just unlucky, the tire is stuck and it was just something small I must have encountered that caused a very slow leak. This year my rear tire was fine but unfortunately it was damaged in an accident which also damaged my rear tyre. I had 22c tires but just ordered two new 25c tires. I'm hoping they're a little more comfortable for racing and I've been told that with 404 Fire Crest rims they will actually be more aerodynamic. We have yet to find out. In my experience, the Vittoria Evo Corsa tires are a bit faster than these, but definitely not as durable and cost about 2.5 times as much. I just can't justify buying these tires over these. I'm just a CAT 3 crit racer who occasionally excels at street races. so they will not be decisive for me. But if you're a CAT 1 about to score points in your BAR series in the US or something, then the Vittoria could be a worthwhile investment. But for most riders I think these tires are a mega bargain at this price so I've just ordered two more of these. Hope that helps!
