If you are a Nvidia Shield user, you know how terrible its remote control is. This inexpensive device should have been built into Nvidia's glossy TV box rather than the minimalist abomination the company has foisted on its users. This device has everything you need to control your Shield. Its unexpected coolness is the mouse control, when you press a key a cursor appears on the screen. Wow, I didn't expect to love this feature so much! It's like magic to move the cursor around the screen simply by pointing the remote control where you want it. The remote control itself is made out of cheap plastic and is too light to be durable enough. Besides, it works fine. Its radio-controlled (rather than intermittent infrared) signal doesn't require you to point the device at the receiver at all. The mute button (the most important button on the remote when watching commercial TV) is conveniently located in the top right, which is exactly where I like it. around the box and it sounded like a piece of it had broken off. But don't worry — it was a USB receiver, sloppily packaged in an unwrapped box. But in the end it didn't matter because to make the remote work, all I had to do was plug this USB receiver into my device and it just worked. Bravo! Worth every penny.
