This is an average deodorant in terms of odor control performance, smell and application. It rivals most deodorants when it comes to odor control and freshness in both normal and sweaty conditions. The scent is too strong for me and seems to last a long time, allowing the scent to penetrate your clothes. I've encountered this problem more with solid deodorants like this Degree than with gel deodorants. It usually applies well, but sometimes it stays short and leaves clumps of white in the armpit hair. This seems to happen most often towards the end of the stick. Another problem is that when you get close to the end, the stick tends to break off the base, leaving you with a useless piece of deodorant. That's not a problem with gel deodorants either, which is why I'm now keeping my hands off products like this deodorant from Degree.
