You get what you pay for.

I've tried many wiper styles on my 2015 Ram 1500. Two different Bosch bars (Icon and a cheaper style maybe Advantage) were missing from the lower right corner of the windshield. Bar-shaped blades seem to fit well with a constant radius, but many windshields have a sharper curve around the edge. Non-original wipers also have the wiper arm pivot located higher, which in some cases can change the wiping range and the position where the wipers are parked. I also tried a pair of Bosch Excels, which fit the edge of the windshield well, but were surprisingly shorter than advertised. The driver's side also kept popping up in moderate snow. The Denso wiper is most similar to the Goodyear hybrid wiper available at Costco for $8 ($5 when it goes on sale). However, the Goodyear Hybrid has a number of plastic adapters that reduce the stiffness of the wipers, causing the wipers to wiggle and slap loudly and be visually distracting. And the adapters pop up during aggressive windshield cleaning sessions. in summary. The Denso appears to be a well-built, low-profile wiper. The hybrid design is less prone to ice build-up than traditional wipers. A safety clip (similar to the Bosch Icon) prevents the wipers from being torn off unintentionally. Rigid frame ensures good vibration and no wobble. Finally, replacement blade heads are available to offset the higher cost somewhat.
