Review on 🌬️ Honeywell White Comfort Control Tower Fan - Slim Design, Powerful Cooling - 1 Pack by Tiffany Odom

Honeywell usually makes good products, but this product needs work. This fan has a serious disadvantage. It was quiet last summer with good airflow but broke when I got it out of the closet this year. I usually repair fans, but when I took the fan apart I noticed that the thin, hard plastic tube had been cut off. The tube is at the very beginning of the tower, and the cord runs through it. The tube is one piece and cannot be removed. There is a small gap where the pipe is poorly attached with glue and a recessed washer. The fan blades, motor and housing push against this area of the tube, while repetitive movements stress the same area. Weight, stress and high temperature are unfavorable for hard plastics. I found several small stress cracks near where my fan's tube broke. Since the fan tube sheared off without a hit, I assume it broke via an existing stress crack. A repair is not possible. My next tower fan will have the tower attached to the base rather than a thin stand to support it.
