To be honest I find it VERY hard to believe that so many of you are honest about this product! In my opinion, this bath rug is EASY to clean. To me, "simple" means a quick spray of a small amount of bathroom cleaner/bleach/sanitizer (depending on preference) and a quick wipe and rinse. Elbow lubrication is not necessary! Now I don't know, maybe it's just me having problems like this, maybe I have something with our plumbing, but I have to clean this thing like every other day, and I have to clean, soak and repeat several times to take the dirt away. And again, maybe it's just my lines, but I haven't noticed or found anything lately. but the bottom of this thing is a magnet for that nasty, slimy, flour-duck shit! If only I hadn't cleaned the damn thing AGAIN. I would have some photos and video to show this review but I'll only give it a few days to get it dirty again and then I'll post! I can't be the ONLY one with these problems, can I?
