Review on Top-Rated 5 Pack - DirecTV Universal High Speed 6FT HDMI Cables for Optimal Performance by Adam Matthews

These are DirecTV 1.4 Bulk HDMI Cables

In this review I will not say much beyond what is required. These are bulky HDMI DirectTV 1.4 cables. I have given the official name of the cable in the next line. Interconnect Products LTD HDMI Cable 6ft High Speed AWM 20276 80° 30V VW1 E337566 I suspect DirectTV has decided to get rid of their huge inventory of HDMI cables that they have been using for the last 10 or so years and updated to a new standard (maybe 2.0 ) for their prospective or current customers who have replaced new devices. You can search the HDMI 1.4 standard on Google to see if it is compatible with your particular device. My cables came in a sealed bag with a real DirectTV logo on it. Judging by the thickness of the cable and the rather simple markings; This appears to be a legitimate bulk cable given to field installers or retailers to give away with receivers or other equipment. In short, any display up to 1440P 60Hz is fine. Any display or device with a resolution of 1080p or lower will work with these cables at up to 144Hz. Audio is also transmitted over the cable according to the 1.4 specification for ARC (if your device supports it). To be honest it's really about the same quality you can get at your local store. These special cables are a bit lighter than these, but they are also more flexible and easier to work with if you are in the cabling industry. DirectTV cables have heavier shielding and can withstand shocks due to their rigidity. Also note that a rigid cable can cause the jack of any device you want to connect it to bend. So I would suggest buying some bulky HDMI extenders or right angle adapters if you experience signal loss with these cables or need to "shake" them. stabilizes the image. Hope that helps!
