Sizing chart is way off

According to the sizing chart I should have ordered a 2xl. I was blown away bc I wear a size medium clothing. So after some debate I ordered a medium. Had to send it back for a size small. Now that the sizing issue has been sorted out I really like this waist trainer. I wear it to work out in and when I get home and feel it off I am extra sweaty underneath it.
