iGo Wall Surge Personal Review

I recently purchased and received the iGo Power Smart Surge Protector. In my personal review of the product, I should have given the item 5 stars. I found this item to be within specifications, and I had absolutely no problems installing and "optimizing" the unit for my needs. Here are a few things that immediately caught my eye: - Turns regular 2 outlets into 4 (2 with surge protectors, 2 "green" ones with controls). ) to 'monitor' green outlets My application: Master bedroom - Controlled 'green' outlets - laptop and 19" HDMI LCD TV - for instant power so I could turn on the TV I would have to press the power button on the iGo- Push device yourself I don't use my TV very often, so hitting the power button isn't that big of a deal. Or you can wait - On a laptop, when you turn it on, as mentioned in the previous posts, you'll be driven by battery life up to 30 minutes, since that's the interval where the 'green' plugs are checked. At that point, I could turn on the TV if I wanted to. It acts as a sort of extra monitor when I need it. All in all, a simple and convenient device that I wouldn't recommend. Oh, for your living room enterta, I don't think it would be an effective use for this app, although the product says it can be used for that. How would you say "no". Finally, I will order a few more devices and connect them to the iGo Tower. I'm tired of paying extra for all my goodies that I think should be connected, even though I might not necessarily be using them at this point. I will try to go "green" throughout my house. I believe the initial investment is well worth it for long-term benefits.
