I spent over 3 hours on my phone with Brother or Revain trying to connect to my computer. The simple setup guide that came with the machine was cumbersome and didn't work. I have a Mac desktop operating system 10.13. The customer service reps were knowledgeable and helpful, but some settings eluded them. Someone accidentally mentioned that this is a 'new' printer model. So you can wait until the car is "new" before buying and the setup will be easier. After the phone coped with starting, restarting the printer, modem and computer several times, it finally recognized the scanner and everything worked. I have to say that the print setup was a breeze, but the problem was the scanning function pairing. After everything was connected, everything worked without any problems. But before that it was very awkward, in fact it's awkward to swear out loud.
