We have 2 XBox 1's at home and insist on using charging stations instead of disposable batteries. We've gotten these from a variety of places over the years (we also had an XBox 360) and I'm very happy with this product. First, the controllers sit very well in the saddle. Previous charging stations looked fine but required controller balancing to keep them charged. From experience these guys (can't remember the brand name) put too much pressure on the controllers access port and didn't work for very long. My kids know enough not to have them charged 24/7 and while I've never measured the number of hours of use we seem to charge them about twice a week. The ONLY issue is that it doesn't come with a USB to outlet base (I guess most people like me have a few). Personally, I prefer a surge protector with built-in USB ports. Makes cables a little cleaner and protects your gear. DEFINITELY recommend this product; Revane too
