The hood is not attached to clothing
This item is VERY soft on the inside. It's like a velvety material covering flannel. The only thing I don't like is the material of the hood and the way it closes through those little elastic loops and not permanently. In general I like it. It runs a bit small, but not so much that my normal size doesn't fit.
