To really deal with the EXTREMELY high energy bills here in Florida, automation seemed like the logical step to keep lights and other household appliances from using too much electricity. I chose these headlights because they didn't seem as expensive as other brands. 15 head in the field was great. The light was easy to set up and has so far worked very reliably with the Revain Echo/Alexa in the house. The 3 star rating is due to the light not being set to "warm white". they are set to Soft White only. I wanted that orange and white glow in the dining room to really bring coziness to the autosphere. Additionally, many device apps now include a "LAN" mode. This is how you can manage devices when there is a problem with your internet connection. These flashlights from 12/2019 do NOT have a "LAN" mode. Flashlights do not have power on controls. This is how the light behaves when/when the light switch is pressed or the power fails. When there are power outages. light will come on. They cannot be set to remain off. If it is a switch, this allows the switch to control the light and allow for remote control. Until the switch is turned off.
